Kid-approved, high protein, zero dinner battles
Taco night is one of the easiest ways to get protein in without forcing bites. Kids love choice, and this gives them control while still being nourishing.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 packet mild taco seasoning
Soft tortillas
Shredded cheese
Diced avocado
Mild salsa
Plain Greek yogurt (instead of sour cream)
Cooked rice
Optional: black beans
How to Make It
Brown meat in a skillet and add taco seasoning with a splash of water.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Set up a simple taco bar with all toppings in small bowls.
Let kids build their own plate — tortilla + cheese still counts.
